The Dubai Heat “the hottest thing in the UAE in 2007" is getting even hotter in 2008. The Heat is the recently formed Australian Rules Football side from the UAE. The Heat is made up of a mix of expatriate Australians working predominantly in the property development and construction fields that have a love of the game – Australia Rules Football. The Heat has a very fast, tough and exciting style of play and has built on its recent success in the Middle East by taking out the honours in the 9th AFL Asian Championships held in Singapore this September. - We are now looking forward to the Grand Final against the Muscat Magpies on the 20th of March at the Rugby 7's ground. Should be a great game, hope to see you there.

February 17 - It's been a while since we've had an update. The latest results from AFL Middle East are:

- We beat the Doha Kangaroos in Round 3, 21-18-144 to 5-3-33.  

- Last weekend we beat the Muscat Magpies 17-14-116 to 8-9-57.
